EnergyU Audio Cuts Off… Problem Solved!

The recent survey results identified some areas where additional information and training would benefit EnergyU Administrators and Users. One of the areas which received many comments was the EnergyU audio being cut off a couple seconds before finishing. We began to experience this problem with course audio as a result of a change in the Flash Player.

We have good news! You can now solve the audio problem by downloading the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. Click HERE to visit the download site. Please be sure to let us know if you experience any other Audio problems.

Help – I forgot my EnergyU password!

The recent survey results identified some areas where additional information and training would benefit EnergyU Administrators and Users. One of these areas is Forgotten Passwords. When MEA receives a request to reset a password, we inform the User that they have two options:

1) Contact their company’s Administrator

2) Click the “Forgot Password?” link on the EnergyU Login Page

Clicking the Forgot Password link emails a temporary password to the address listed in the EnergyU User profile. If the User cannot receive the new password due to an incorrect email address, they will be locked out and require Administrator assistance. This is only one reason to have correct email addresses entered for your Users – there are more.

We are in the midst of preparing for an upgrade to EnergyU that will take place this spring. As one of the many new features, Users will have the ability to receive email notifications of expiring qualifications. Administrators will also have the ability to send broadcast emails to all of their Users.

To take advantage of these new features, each EnergyU User profile will require a correct email address. We realize not every User has a company email address, but there are other options, including free options such as Gmail.

It’s easy to update your Users’ email address:

In the Administrator Portal – Click Users – Manage – Users Edit – Select the User – update the email address – Click Update. You will be prompted to Log Out and Log back in for the change to be valid. If you have many users, you can make all your changes before logging out.

Last month, a number of EnergyU Administrators and Users participated in an online survey. MEA truly values customer input, and we appreciate the survey participation and feedback provided. The survey results identified some areas where additional information and training would benefit EnergyU Administrators and Users.
