Important Information for EnergyU Users

November 25, 2014

It is important for proper course scoring that pop-up blockers be turned off when taking courses on EnergyU. If pop-up blockers are on, the potential exists for a user to be able to complete the course, receive a score on the last page of the course, and not receive a score in EnergyU. The pop-up blocker will block the course score from being transferred to the LMS. Upon completion of a course, users can verify correct transfer of the score data to the LMS by viewing their transcript. The transcript can be viewed by clicking the My Information button at the top of the portal page, and then selecting the Transcript button at the left.

In addition, some courses require Java, and users may receive a pop-up asking to Run or Cancel a Java application (for instance the CCAPlayer from SkillSoft Corporation). Users must select Run in order to have the course run and score properly.

As part of the changes to our OQ Program, evaluators need EnergyU access in order to track completion of their evaluator requirements. Individuals trained in 2012-2014 received EnergyU access at the discounted price of $50 per license. We are happy to announce that in 2015, current evaluator licenses will be renewed for one more year at this discounted price. New evaluator licenses added in 2015, and all renewals for 2016, will be billed at your regular company price.
