Great News for Administrators!

December 12, 2017

New Feature Coming Soon…

Upload PEF completion data to EnergyU

Administrators may begin noticing PEF course titles appearing under Courses in EnergyU Administrator. If your users are enrolled in a PEF certificate, they will automatically be enrolled in the PEF course. The courses are required in order to upload completion data via the web. The PEF courses are inactive, and although visible to Administrators, the courses are not visible to users and will not display in a user’s course list.

Beginning early January 2018, MEA will provide EnergyU Administrators with a link to a PEF Upload website. Administrators with permission to upload files will be able to drag-n-drop a CSV data file containing their users’ PEF completion data. The completion data will be applied to the PEF courses, allowing the PEF certificates to be automatically granted. In addition, the PEF completion data will display in the credits-by-user report. This new upload process will make manually granting of PEF certificates a thing of the past.

Stay tuned… we’ll be providing additional information in the next few weeks.

NEW for 2018! Archive EnergyU Users

December 11, 2017

Beginning January 1, 2018, EnergyU Administrators will have the ability to request archival of users in EnergyU; archiving a user will free up a license for your company. Although records for archived users remain in the system, the data cannot be included in reports and is not accessible to Administrators.

Inactivating a user does not free up a user license. To free up a license you will need to either delete the user, which in turn deletes all user records, or archive the user. Beginning next year, Administrators may submit a completed Archive Request form. MEA Support will process the request to archive the user, and all records will remain in the system. Administrators wishing to reinstated an archived user may do so for a $50 fee.

If, after clearing the browser cache, you still experience a problem, please contact Laura Legel at 651-289-9600 x106. Thank you!
