Course Maintenance Now Complete

October 25, 2018

Course Maintenance is now complete on the following courses:

  • ASME-0981 e-TNG Backfilling
  • ASME-0981 KNT Backfilling
  • ASME-0991 e-TNG Coating Application and Repair – Brushed or Rolled
  • ASME-0991 KNT Coating Application and Repair – Brushed or Rolled

As previously communicated, these courses are using the refreshed MEA brand and new user interface.

In addition, the updated courses will also have the new knowledge test functionality. Course users will only be allowed to open a KNT course once. If a course session is ended for any reason prior to receiving a passed or failed score, the status will change to “In Progress” and the EnergyU Administrator will be required to reset the course. Users will not be able to launch an “In Progress” knowledge test until the course is reset.

Functionality of the training (TNG) courses will remain the same — users will be allowed multiple sessions to complete, and users will be able to review learning content of completed courses.

Remember… After a course has undergone maintenance, it is important that users verify a status of “Not started” to ensure proper recording of a new score.

Course Maintenance scheduled for October 24 – 25, 2018

October 17, 2018

The 4 courses listed below are scheduled to undergo maintenance. The courses will be offline beginning Wednesday evening (October 24) at 6:00 p.m. CST. We expect maintenance to be completed by Thursday morning (October 25) at 10:00 a.m. CST. A blog post will go out when maintenance is complete.

  • ASME-0981 e-TNG Backfilling
  • ASME-0981 KNT Backfilling
  • ASME-0991 e-TNG Coating Application and Repair – Brushed or Rolled
  • ASME-0991 KNT Coating Application and Repair – Brushed or Rolled

These courses are using the refreshed MEA brand and new user interface. In addition, these updated courses will also have the new knowledge test functionality. If a course session is ended for any reason prior to receiving a passed or failed score, the status will change to “In Progress” and the EnergyU Administrator will be required to reset the course. A trend toward tighter regulations and a desire to have more oversight of online knowledge tests has prompted this recommendation by the MEA Technical Training Committee.
