Course Maintenance on 195 Course Library Scheduled for May 15 – 18, 2020

April 30, 2020

The entire 195 course library is scheduled to undergo maintenance and will be offline beginning Friday evening (May 15) at 6:00 p.m. CDT. We expect maintenance to be completed by Monday morning (May 18) at 10:00 a.m. CDT. A blog post will go out when maintenance is complete.

As part of this update, the 195 courses will no longer have flash content. In addition, these updated courses will also have the new knowledge test functionality. If a course session is ended for any reason prior to receiving a passed or failed score, the status will change to “In Progress” and the EnergyU Administrator will be required to reset the course. A trend toward tighter regulations and a desire to have more oversight of online knowledge tests has prompted this recommendation by the MEA Technical Training Committee.

Remember… After a course has undergone maintenance, it is important that users verify a status of “Not started” to ensure proper recording of a new score.
